DIRECTOR
Kim
Kim is the founder of Yeah The Curls and has been hairdressing for 25 years, with a passion for helping clients embrace and love their natural texture. She specialises in personalised curl cuts, lived-in colour and creating shapes that work with your lifestyle and curl pattern.
When she’s not in the salon talking everyone’s ear off, she’s usually camping with her two daughters, spending time outdoors and planning her next adventure!
SALON CO ORDINATOR/ MAKEUP ARTIST
Kara
Kara is the friendly face behind the scenes at Yeah The Curls, keeping the salon running smoothly as our Salon Coordinator while also bringing her creative flair as a professional Makeup Artist.
With 16 years of experience in the makeup industry and 6 years as part of the Yeah The Curls family, Kara loves helping clients feel confident, beautiful, and completely looked after.
When she's not at the salon, you'll usually find her at the beach, catching up with friends over a cocktail, or planning her next coastal adventure.
MASTER STYLIST
Su
Su is a Master Curl Stylist, she has been exclusively cutting curly hair at Yeah The Curls for 5 years. She is fantastic at colour work and loves to do fun and original styles- think cool mullets and wild colours!
She is also very talented at creating a beautiful soft, natural look, if that is more your style. She loves swimming in the ocean, pilates and a good cocktail!
CURL SPECIALIST
Brooke
Brooke is in her 3rd and final year of her hairdressing qualification. She has been at Yeah The Curls for her entire apprenticeship and has a real flair for helping you get the most out of your curls.
She does excellent colour work and understands how important it is to keep the hair healthy when colouring.
She loves curly cutting and also has a passion for fun and vivid colours.
Brooke loves pilates, travelling and hates spiders!
CURL SPECIALIST
Ike
Ike joined Yeah The Curls in 2025 and has quickly grown into a confident Curl Specialist with a real passion for curls, colour and styling. He has a huge eye for detail in everything he does and loves creating beautiful, personalised looks for his clients.
He is especially talented at bouncy blow-dries, bridal and special event styling, and is always bringing creativity and fun into the salon. Outside of hair, Ike is obsessed with makeup, fashion and all things drag!
EMERGING STYLIST
Olivia
Olivia joined the Yeah The Curls team in March 2026 as our newest First Year Apprentice and has quickly become a valued part of the salon family.
She is passionate about all things colour and loves learning new techniques as she begins her hairdressing journey. You'll often find Olivia assisting our stylists, caring for clients, and soaking up as much knowledge as possible to build her skills and confidence.
When she's not in the salon, Olivia loves spending time in the kitchen baking sweet treats and cooking for family and friends. Her warm nature, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn make her a wonderful addition to the team, and we can't wait to see her grow into an amazing stylist.
